Rehearsals

Regular chorus rehearsals and chapter meetings are open to any and all guests who want to rehearse, perform, or just watch.  We rehearse at 7:00 p.m. CST every Thursday night at the Greenwood Park Church of Christ at 1818 Campbell Lane in Bowling Green, Kentucky.  You are welcome anytime during regular rehearsals!

If you are interested in singing with the chorus, we welcome you to join us on the risers.  We will provide a guest music folder and place you next to a strong singer of your same voice part to make you visit more enjoyable.

Frequently Asked Questions

I love to sing, but can't read music - can I still sing barbershop?
Absolutely!  There are several chorus members who don't read music.  For nearly all our music, special learning tracks are made that allow anyone with diligence to learn their part by ear.

I'm not sure I can sing well enough to be in your chorus.
Nearly every new member has felt this way.  You won't find a more supportive group than this one in encouraging you and helping you improve.  We spend at least 1/4 of our rehearsals just working on basic techniques that helps everyone sing better.  There is no better way to improve your singing abilities than to join in with the group and be diligent in practicing.

How is barbershop different than other singing types?
